Are you our next Service Manager for Digital Workplace?
Do you want to have overall responsibility for how the digital workplace functions in practice – from clients and devices to meetings, telephony, and printing? Do you enjoy combining structure, governance, and development with user benefit? Then this could be the role for you.
Within Digital Service, in the area of Digital Workplace, we are now looking for a Service Manager for client and device management. Our mission is to create a modern, secure, and efficient digital workplace that enables collaboration, high availability, and productivity for the entire organization.
About the role
As a Service Manager, you have overall responsibility for the lifecycle of services – from governance, standards, and documentation to follow-up, improvement, and further development.
The service area includes, among other things:
- clients and mobile devices
- underlying client platforms
- conference room and meeting equipment
- telephony
- printing and scanning
You ensure that these services are clearly defined, standardized, and delivered with the right quality, security, and user experience. The role is central in collaboration between the business, digital workplace, service desk, IT specialists, and operational partners. You create structure, clarity, and common working methods in the delivery and are responsible for ensuring that the whole works – even at the interfaces between technology, users, and suppliers.
Your mission in brief:
- Be responsible for service governance and lifecycle management within client and device management
- Ensure structure for standards, documentation, and service descriptions
- Coordinate and follow up delivery between internal and external parties
- Drive improvement and development initiatives with a focus on user experience, quality, and efficiency
- Ensure a functioning structure for configuration, asset, and inventory management
- Capture the business needs and translate them into sustainable, cost-effective, and standardized solutions
Are you the one we are looking for?
We are looking for someone who is structured and confident in a service-based working method. You have a holistic perspective but also understand the operational parts of client and device management.
You are communicative, collaborative, and service- and user-focused. With an initiative-taking approach, you drive improvements and ensure that structure, quality, and clear working methods permeate the delivery.
We see that you have:
- Higher education or equivalent relevant experience
- Experience in IT operations, IT support, or digital workplace
- Knowledge of client and device management as well as service-based working methods
- Familiarity with ticketing systems and understanding of CMDB/asset management
- Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders and change or project work
- Good communication skills in Swedish and English
Meritorious:
- ITIL (preferably ITIL 4)
- Microsoft-related certifications (e.g., Windows, Intune, Endpoint Manager, M365)
- Experience in standardization and lifecycle management in larger organizations
- Experience with ServiceNow or similar systems
- Knowledge in information or IT security
